In order to better serve you our office operates by appointments. Appointments are made exclusively through the office. For patients with immediate needs we do maintain a ""call"" list as an alternative measure. When scheduling appointments, please let us know the reason for your appointment. Some appointments need to be given more time while others may need to be scheduled at specific times during the day. If you need to cancel an appointment notify the office as soon as possible so that this time can be given to another patient.

When calling our office identify yourself and the reason you are calling. You may be placed on hold briefly but your call will be responded to promptly. If the person you need to speak with is unavailable, your call will be returned as soon as possible. Please remember that many illnesses have the same or similar symptoms. For this reason, many requests for treatment over the phone require an office visit.

Appointments are not necessary for an allergy injection. We do request that you do not come for your injection between 12:00 Noon and 1:30 PM. Our nurses are taking lunch breaks during this time. Should you feel ill or have a temperature 100 degrees or above, you will need to see the physician before receiving your injection. Appointments in such cases need to be made in advance when possible. We request that you remain in the waiting room until you are called back. (This also applies to everyone, not just patients in the office for allergy shots.) It is not uncommon to have patients in our office with infectious diseases and you do not want to be needlessly exposed to a communicable disease.

Routine prescription refills can be obtained by calling our office between 8:30 AM and 12 Noon. Pharmacies are usually called after 3:PM. Check with the pharmacy (not the office) to see if your prescription has been filled. Prescriptions can be filled at the pharmacy of your choice. We are not associated with any pharmacy.

The physician will order the tests he determines necessary in treating or diagnosing your condition. Some of these tests will require that you be fasting (not eating or drinking) after midnight. When scheduling an appointment let the receptionist know if you are fasting for a laboratory procedure so that your appointment may be made as early as possible for your convenience. Our staff will notify you with the results of your tests as soon as the are received. However, if you do not hear from us regarding these results, please feel free to call our office.

At times the doctor will prescribe a treatment that does not seem to alleviate your health problem. We would appreciate you letting us know so that we can alter your treatment.
